All proceeds from the Concours d’Elegance support the mission of the American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula, which is to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Since 1905, the Red Cross has partnered with communities on the Delmarva Peninsula, and now serves more than one million people in nine counties in Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland 24-hours a day, 365 days per year. Since the American Red Cross is not federally funded, we rely on the support of volunteers and others to help us make our communities safer places to live, work and raise families.

The American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula provides immediate human response when fires, floods and other natural disasters create real emergencies in the lives of our friends, neighbors and families. Here’s how we’ve served our community in the past year:

	Provided emergency disaster relief to more than 300 families.
	Trained over 15,000 people in First Aid, CPR or other life saving skills.
	Sent over 400 emergency messages to and from military families in the U.S. and overseas.
	Provided disaster education and preparedness training to over 2,000 Delmarva residents.
	Installed over 200 Lifeline personal emergency medical alert systems, providing peace of mind to seniors and their families
